Control system

The system automatically adjusts the speed of the screw to maintain a preset upstream river level.  In peak flows, once screw reaches max speed, gates open to maintain level.
 
A new larger river gate was installed to enable both smoother management of river levels (better for wildlife) and to avoid past problems when river backed up and burst banks
